Adult Eating Disorder Services – Community service

People who are receiving services commissioned by NHS England receive care coordination services from the South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SWYPFT) Community Mental Health Team.  In 2014/15 and 2015/16 there was no specific funding for this service; however, in both 2016/17 and 2017/17 a specialist post has been commissioned through South West Yorkshire NHS Foundation Trust.

Commissioning work is ongoing to identify future community provision.  In addition, adults with eating disorders may receive support from the psychology team and mental health community teams provided through SWYPFT generic mental health services.
