An NHS letter will soon land on the doormats of everyone over the age of 75 in Calderdale. This invites you to book your Covid-19 vaccination using a national booking service.

If you have already had your first vaccination, you can just ignore this letter. We will be in touch with you when we’re ready to give you your second vaccination.

If you are over 75 and not had your first vaccination you can go ahead and book online or by calling 119. The booking service will offer you the choice to attend your nearest National Vaccination Centre, or if you prefer, you can choose to attend our local Community Pharmacy Vaccination Centre.

This is based at Boots, which is on Market Street in Halifax.

Or you can choose to wait to be invited for a vaccination by your local GP practice.

Please do not call your GP practice as they are extremely busy dealing with patients in need of immediate medical assistance.
