1. Provide me with a list of stakeholders, community engagement champions, community assets or other groups that have been previous to this date been consulted on the Right Care Right Time Right Place and/or Care Closer to Home and/or hospital reconfiguration proposals.

It is important to note that ‘engagement’ and ‘consultation’ are different. ‘Engagement’ is the informative stage, where information is gathered, the CCG can listen to people’s ideas and views, and consider the findings to develop the plans. The way the CCG undertakes engagement is set out in our Patient and Public Engagement and Experience Strategy, which is available on our website.

The CCG sets out within the Right Care, Right Time, Right Place Pre-Consultation Business Case, the engagement process followed to date. This can be viewed at: www.rightcaretimeplace.co.uk. Engagement has now concluded.

‘Consultation’ is governed by a formal legal process. NHS Calderdale CCG started the formal consultation process on Tuesday 15th March 2016. We have not yet consulted anyone on Right Care, Right Time, Right Place and/or Care Closer to Home and/or hospital reconfiguration proposals. As part of the consultation process we will consult a range of stakeholders, community engagement champions, community assets and other groups.
