Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Group’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2014/15 took place on Thursday 10 September 2015, and gave members of the public a chance to hear about some of the progress made in improving the health and wellbeing of people in Calderdale in 2014/15.
Over 70 people including CCG staff, members of the public, Calderdale councillors and partners attended the event, which focussed on the Care Closer to Home programme, and how the CCG is working with healthcare providers across Calderdale to improve the way in which services are delivered in Calderdale’s localities, improving accessibility and reducing impact on some hospital services.
The AGM opened with a marketplace exhibition showcasing displays from CCG delivery teams and public and third sector healthcare providers working on Care Closer to Home. This was followed by presentations highlighting the achievements of the CCG in 2014/15.
