Treatment of Base of Thumb Arthritis (1819038)

Please could you send us your current policies for treatment (surgical and/or injection) of base of thumb arthritis including any funding criteria.

NHS Calderdale CCG does not have a policy or funding criteria as described.  Patients experiencing hand pain would see a GP who may refer them to Muscular Skeletal services.  The patient might then be referred to secondary care, if clinically appropriate.

Please could you send us any older policies including funding criteria for treatment of base of thumb arthritis from 1998 to present day.
