As part of Calderdale Council’s #resilience takeover week, organisations around Calderdale, including the CCG, are taking to social media tell people what it is that makes them resilient for the future.
On Friday 28 September representatives from organisations including Calderdale and Kirklees Councils, Yorkshire Ambulance Service, Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust, Greater Huddersfield Clinical Commissioning Group (CGG), South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Local Care Direct and Locala, gathered at Calderdale CCG’s offices at Dean Clough in Halifax to test Calderdale and Kirklees’ winter plan to ensure the area’s health and care services can continue to operate in the event of a winter crisis.
A number of escalating scenarios were worked through during the exercise, which provided an opportunity for all system providers to engage together and work through plans to increase the resilience of Calderdale and Kirklees’ health and care system during the winter period.
